1. INFORMATION COLLECTION & USE

Registration

The Service requires a login to provide you with a personalized account. During our account registration process, we will collect an email address, your phone number, your first and last name, and a password from you. We may also collect information about how you heard about AfriSupermarket and details of the device used to access our Service. We may record your approximate geographic location and IP-Address. You must provide all this information in order to obtain an account. After completing our registration form, you will receive a welcome email describing your new account, and how to access that account. You may, at your option, also store your social media credentials as part of your account with our Service.

Communications with AfriSupermarket

We use third-party service providers to assist us in managing and administering communications and emails sent to us through the Website and through some AfriSupermarket managed sites and the App. Any personal information disclosed through such communications will be governed by such third-party vendors' privacy policy.

Submitting Orders

If you choose to submit an order to us, AfriSupermarket will collect the following personally identifiable information from you: payment method, street address, area, and keep this information on file in a third-party secure server in order to process your order and invoices. You may also be required to provide your company name, full billing address, and additional phone numbers. This information is used to verify authenticity and process payments. This information, along with your account information, may be used to contact you without prior consent.

AfriSupermarket uses third-party payment processors to assist it in processing your personally identifiable payment information securely. Hosting

AfriSupermarket uses the services of third-party hosting providers for it’s Website and App. Personal information hosted by or through these providers is subject to third-party hosting providers’ privacy policies which may or may not contain terms as protective as this privacy policy.

Logs

When accessing the Service, AfriSupermarket may log your IP address, access URL, time of access, geographic location, browser type, and referral URL in order to provide us with internal information regarding site traffic statistics. This information may also be used to identify users who are using the service.

Comments, Messages, and User Content Posted to the Website and App

If you post any Comments, Messages, or User Content on the Website and App, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you choose to provide there may be read, collected, or used by AfriSupermarket and other users of the Website and App, as well as other third parties. The Website provides users the opportunity to interact and post content through various social media sites including, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Instagram, and YouTube. Your interactions with such tools and any information you provide in connection with these interactions are publicly viewable outside of the Website or App. Each social media site has its own privacy policies which may be more or less protective than this Policy. If you do not wish for this information to be disclosed, then you should not use these tools. We are not responsible for the information you choose to post in this way.

Our site also includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. AfriSupermarket collects the aforementioned personally identifiable information in order to provide you with a service. Various features in our management system will, at your discretion, display your name, or adjust the date and time of events based on your locale. The interface will always give you an option before any piece of your personally identifiable information is presented, and situations, where information will be published, are made clear in various spots in the interface.

AfriSupermarket also uses information collected through its Service to send out notifications regarding service-related notifications (such as updates, offers, promotions, problems, and other items related to our service). We do not send contact information unless the matter is deemed urgent, and most communication will occur through your account interface. Changing Information

Most of the personal information that AfriSupermarket stores related to your account is accessible through your Account Manager interface. You may use this interface to correct, update or delete your information, and we encourage you to keep this information up to date so that AfriSupermarket is able to operate efficiently.

Removing Information

To remove your personally identifiable information from our system, submit your account for deactivation and deletion. Your personal information will be removed as soon as possible. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

5. COMMUNICATIONS FROM AfriSupermarket., Service-related Announcements

We will send you service-related announcements on occasions when we deem appropriate to do so. For instance, we might send you an email, push notification, WhatsApp message, Facebook message, Twitter message or Instagram Message. We might also call the phone number you provided. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which may be promotional in nature and they will be issued without prior authorization. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)

We may share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our marketing partners. This information does not identify individual users. This information contains statistics related to traffic and the geographic location of our customers. We also may share aggregated user information with third parties who help us to analyze our user base to improve the Service.

Other than as described herein, we do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.

15. CHILDREN UNDER 13

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
